The business problem behind endless status meetings
Sales thinks operations has the file. Operations thinks underwriting is waiting on a document. Support has a different version of the instructions. Each group may be doing its job correctly while the overall workflow is unclear.
The solution isn't necessarily more communication. It may be a better process boundary, explicit ownership, shared documentation, agreed acceptance criteria and a defined exception route.
Experience with launches and complex handoffs
My enterprise experience includes supporting multiple product launches and coordinating with teams involved in underwriting, suitability, sales, training, case processing and operations. I helped translate changing requirements into job aids, procedures, clarification of documentation expectations and more consistent handoffs.
That work gave me firsthand exposure to how small process ambiguities create real friction when teams depend on one another—and how cross-functional input improves the future-state design.
What a cross-team redesign includes
Depending on scope, I can map who supplies information and who receives it, identify duplicate checks and approval loops, define a responsibility matrix, create updated SOPs and propose an implementation roadmap.
A 10-hour Why? assessment gives findings and recommendations only. The What Next? adds 15+ hours of redesign and SOP creation. Keep on Improving reserves 35+ hours monthly for ongoing, larger operational work.
Works across industries without a site visit
The same issues appear in customer onboarding, finance operations, HR workflows, healthcare administration, insurance support, professional services and e-commerce coordination. I use remote stakeholder interviews and screen-shared walkthroughs rather than office visits.
